A-Tex Pest Management offers human flea management for our customers in Austin, Texas and surrounding areas. Just like there are commonly dog and cat fleas roaming the United States, human fleas are also plaguing mankind. There are over 2000 species of fleas and human fleas are among them. Human fleas look very much like other fleas in appearances. In order to tell the differences, you will need a microscope and some training. When the flea bites humans, it typically occurs along the arms and legs. The site of the bite has a single puncture point in the center. More often than not they will leave two or three bites in a row which will leave a red lump that itches excessively and remain inflamed for several weeks. Some folks have been known to have allergic reactions to their bites and some human fleas can transmit diseases.
“We will not hesitate to call them if the problem arises again, and we will certainly be contacting them for all of our future pest control needs.”
